Are you alright? You seem upset.

Ultimately I am (or at least try to be) a pacifist.
I don't understand violence any more than I understand other people.
Its funny, because misunderstanding or ignorance has a lot of potential to lead to hate and violence. In fact I can say without any hesitation that every violent act in the history of humankind has been a result of misunderstanding or ignorance.

If you can prove me wrong...well you won't...you can't.

Which brings me to some important issues, that as of now, are not directly related to ignorance induced violence. Though they have been in the past.
Two big things on everyone's "Hot List" regardless of what position you have on them.
That's right you guessed it!
Abortion and Gay rights*.

*
i use "gay" as an "umbrella" word because writing "Gay, Lesbian, Transsexual, Bisexual etc rights" takes up too much time and space. I won't actually get to this issue on this post. But I WILL get to it.

Let me first talk about abortion.
This seems to be the topic that EVERYONE has an opinion about. Having an opinion is alright because there is a good chance that if you have an opinion on something it means you have thought about it at some point. Unfortunately this isn't always the case. You see, the majority of people who have opinions on the matter really haven't actually thought about this that much. Yet they are still very vocal, even physical, about their opinion.
You would not believe how many "group invitations" I get on facebook regarding abortion. Yet I almost always get these from guys. This is completely beyond my cognitive grasp.
Why in the fuck do/should men have so much say in this matter.
I myself am a male, and am completely Pro Choice. Do you know why I am Pro Choice? I am because I will NEVER be able to become pregnant. As a male you should only have one logical opinion and that is pro choice, because you will never be pregnant. EVER! If you are a male and are opposed to abortion then you should just shut the fuck up.
Sure if I was dating someone, was married, or in some form of relationship (lets say married for arguments sake) and we had been trying to have a child for a long time, and then my wife got pregnant, and to our knowledge the child would be perfectly healthy and would not cause her any harm, but had an abortion. I would be pretty upset, maybe even get a divorce. That is more because of the deception and not the abortion itself.

What blows my mind even more than men against abortion. Is people who commit violent acts to stop abortion. This blows my fucking mind. I have no idea what is going through their head. The fact that these people claim to be "Pro Life" and still commit such violent acts is beyond me. It also seems pretty funny to me that most people who claim to be "Pro Life" are also advocates of the death penalty. I just don't understand.

I walked away from this for a while, and kind of lost my overall "train of thought."
So I am unable to come up with a proper conclusion.
So....uhh....I think....I...errr....What Mom? Ok, I'll be right there!
